FAQs
Dehydration is a condition caused by excessive loss of total body fluids. Since dehydration most often results from sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea, fluid loss is usually accompanied by a deficiency of electrolytes. Other causes include not drinking enough, heat exposure, high altitude, fever, chronic illness, and age.
Hydration therapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to replenish fluids, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, antioxidants, and amino acids via IV. Because the nutrients are infused directly into the blood stream, they are rapidly absorbed, and the effects can be felt instantly.
Hydration therapy is ideal for maintaining health and wellness and for athletic preparation and recovery. It is also beneficial for combating fatigue, cold and flu symptoms, altitude sickness, jet lag, and hangover.
Everyone is unique with individual needs and we tailor our therapies with this in mind. However, we are happy to further customize therapies upon request. Please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss different options.
According to current research, IV hydration is safe for most individuals. However, Remède reserves the right to withhold treatment if we feel a more thorough evaluation or higher level of care is needed.
Frequency depends on hydration needs and choice of IV therapy. One of our nursing staff members will discuss your best options with you in order to help devise a wellness plan.

Infusions generally last between 30 – 45 minutes.
Because the nutrients are infused directly into the bloodstream, the effects are typically felt within an hour of treatment.
Although we do our best to make each experience as comfortable as possible, a swift pinch should be expected during IV insertion.
